Kakkos- ja Kolmasjoukkue ovat valmis kaudelle

Englanneksi:

In 2019, we started a new III-team in Seiska, because we had about 40 license-players for the II-team and we didn't want a situation like in 2018 where we had over 20 players for most of our home games.

Ralf took the responsibility for the III-team and it became a combination of young players (U21) and old players (O35) with some players in between both ages. The goal was to promote to Kutonen and so we did after a season which was not always easy, but overall, it was a lot of fun. We created a strong team-spirit and had a good bond between young and old players.

Our young players, e. g. Verneri and Konsta, developed a lot and we found our own playing style and team tactics which we constantly improved. Having scored the most goals of all teams as well as having conceived the least goals (only 15 in 16 games) is a proof for that.

In 2020, we have a new situation: Our edustusjoukkue and II-team don't play in the same league anymore. Thus we can connect the teams better than before. In order to achieve the best situation, our III-team becomes the II-team and vice versa. Ralf coaches the II-team and will work together with Petri Määttänen from the edustusjoukkue.

The II-team will be organised and handled more seriously than last year's II-team with which no one was fully satisfied. Ossi takes over the responsibility for the III-team.

The II-team will train regularly (probably twice per week as soon as we can train outside). All young players (e.g. U25) will automatically be assigned to this team as well as all players who are willing to commit to be part of the team. No one expects that players can always come to practises and games; family and work comes first. But we expect a mental mindset that goes beyond "Home game? Sure, I come. Away game? Nah, too long ride, not interested." While we want to achieve proper training and tactics, fun comes first nonetheless. Because football is a game. And we play in Vitonen, not Ykkönen.

We will have around 30 players for the pool of the II- and III-team. On top of that, the younger edustus-players help out, if there is a lack of players. And if this still isn't enough, the P2005 boys are also willing to help out in order to increase the numbers.

Like last year, it is possible to switch between teams. After a game in the III-team, there is a karenssiaika of one day before the next II-game, after a game in the II-team, there is a karenssiaika of six days before the next III-game. We strive for a core groups of players in the II- and the III-teams, however, the borders are always open for everyone: We act as one group.

The financial aspects are like this: Every player pays the 20€ jäsenmaksu and the 100€ joukkueenmaksu to the club. On top of that, we handle our finances autarkical.

What are our goals in 2020? We have three possible scenarios which apply to all three adult teams equally:

Perfect scenario: promotion (to Kolmonen/Nelonen/Vitonen)

Balanced scenario: safe space in the "no man's land" of the league (midfield spots in Nelonen/Vitonen/Kutonen)

Minimal scenario: prevent relegation (to Vitonen/Kutonen/Seiska)

The first highpoint of the season is the second round of the Regions Cup, where we play in Seinäjoki on Saturday, 28.3. against SJK-j from Nelonen. In this game, players from all three teams are allowed to play.
